Founded in 1956, the Lake Shore Railway Historical Society, Inc. (LSRHS) is a railroad museum on the grounds of the former New York Central Railroad passenger depot in the borough of North East in Erie, PA. Our mission is to preserve, enjoy, share the history, and experience of railroading. The museum is open to the public on a regular basis from April to October and the grounds are open year-round, weather permitting.

Freeport Beach is jointly managed by the Borough and Township and is located about 1.5 miles north of the Borough right on Lake Erie. Our beach is staffed during the summer time with fully certified life guards and has a concession stand with restrooms for the publics use.
