The Borough of North East Streets Department is preparing for the end of Spring and the start of summer with each passing day. One of the summertime traditions in the Borough is the twice-weekly garbage collection. This year, twice-weekly collection will begin on Monday, June 3, 2024 and continue until Friday, September 27, 2024. For example, if your regular collection day was Monday then during twice weekly collection you could place your trash out on both Monday and Thursday of the same week. This is in addition to the grass and brush collection that the Borough Streets Department offers to Borough residents every week.
